International Visitors Committee of CT / UNA Southwestern CT

The International Visitor's Committee is also known as the Southwestern Connecticut chapter of the United Nations Association, a program of the United Nations Foundation. Our chapter is twinned with the Westminster, England chapter.  We have welcomed over 55,000 international visitors to Fairfield County since 1956, people of all ages, races, ethnicities, orientation, religions, family situation and socio-economic background.

As a member of the United Nations Association, we are  dedicated to educating, inspiring and mobilizing Americans  to support the ideals and vital work of the United Nations. For 70+ years UNA-USA has worked to accomplish its mission to promote peace by fostering friendship through US-based international visitor programs and to advance the goals of the United Nations and act as citizen-diplomats of the U.S. through active participation and continuing education.
